Lemon Madeleines Recipe A fast and easy sweet to make any time.
Preheat Oven 325 degrees
Ingredients...
1 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2/3 cup sugar zest of one lemon 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/4 cup sour cream
Lightly coat Madeleine pan with cooking spray.
Mix together in small bowl, flour, baking soda, and baking powder and lemon zest. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, leamon zest, vanilla, eggs, and melted butter.
Using a table spoon, fill pan cavities with rounded spoonful of batter. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes in pan, invert onto cooling rack and cool completely. Repeat with the rest of the batter. |
