Banding Chicken Legs
Our chickens are eight weeks old and their legs big enough to band their legs. The bands stayed on the chickens legs, with out falling off.
Two people made banding the chicken's legs easy. Catching chickens that had not been banded yet was our challenge. Daisy as always was their to help move the chickens towards me, so I was able to catch and band all the chickens. Catching the shyest bird was the most difficult, and since she got the purple band, I named her Shy Violet.
